Karolina Stanczyk PolenThe pianist, chamber musician and teacher. She graduated from the Music Academy in Poznan, branch in Szczecin, in the class of prof. Franciszek Gajb. She works as a lecturer at the Academy of Art in Szczecin in cooperation with vocal classes of prof. Grazyna Flicinska-Panfil and Dr. Sylwia Burnicka - Kalischewska. She also teaches piano at the Feliks Nowowiejski?s Music School. Karolina Stanczyk has won three editions of the Artistic Scholarship of Szczecin. She took part in many auditions, competitions and festivals where she won numerous awards as a pianist - accompanist (f.ex. the 4th International Competition of Wind Instruments in Wroclaw, the National Competition of Wind Instruments 'Miniature 2011' in Bydgoszcz, the 34th Competition for Young Musicians in Szczecinek). She has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in the following festivals: the Biennale of Contemporary Music, the Festival of Contemporary Music of Witold Lutoslawski, the Nova Music CONtemplations, the International Festival of Saxophone, the Western Pomerania Clarinet Festival). She has performed with such distinguished artists as Joseph Wytko, Karel Dohnal, Florent Heau, Francois Sauzeau, Riccardo Crocilla and Jan Jakub Bokun. As a pianist - accompanist she accompanied the participants of the Summer Academy of Wind Instruments in Myslib?rz, Summer Music Courses in Leba, Nationwide Saxophone Workshops in Szczecin. The artist collaborates with Mieczyslaw Karlowicz?s Philharmonic in Szczecin, the Vocal and Instrumental Ensemble "Camerata Nova" and the Baltic Neopolis Orchestra.
